Okay guys, as you know I just bought my new 2005 camry two weeks ago. I'm already making other plans for my car. I need some help and advice if they're worth the trouble and money for the car.
Suspensions:
Tein
TRD Strutbar
TRD Catback Exhaust
SE Headlights, rims, and wings (I decided not to buy the SE Taillights, seemingly there's not much difference, I don't think it's worth the $448 )

Cost too much. My LE was $20,490, but I got it for $18,490. I pay only $320 a month. If I had the SE, I would have to pay around $390 a month. Also, I needed the auto, so the price of SE goes about another $2000. So basically, it was to save money. "Get the LE, and use around $1500 to convert it into a SE," that was my plan. Either that, or get the Solara SE Sport, but I'm not the one that's paying for the insurance.
honestly after all the things i have done to my camry i figure the suspension should have been first.
1.have it stop on a dime
2.make it ride on rails
3.beef up you o-60 time
xpeed: From what I know, Tein doesn't offer coilovers for the Gen5. Secondly, that TRD strut brace you posted is for a Supra. Third, TRD only offers a muffer for the Camry/Solara, not a catback setup.
I only got pics of google. They're not legit pictures, but it's just there to show what my plans are.
But, I'm only aiming for Tein. I love their hydralic set up. Use it whenever I go over speed bumps and dips.

If not, might as well try TRD.
yeah im in the same boat...i bought my 05 LE Camry in August...... i thought about doing lots of stuff to it but you know what its a brand new car....i hate to spend hundreds of dollars on parts that dont need replacing.....only thing ive done so far is slapped on some tint, muffler tip.....and i will install the TRD strut bar, K&N Air filter, and 18"rims ....im only gonna add stuff to the car, not replace brand new parts...thats just my view on it
Will, I don't want to replace the parts either. I'm still thinking twice about the tein suspension get-up, but I am gonna replace the headlights with the SE headlights. Keep the taillights as it is, no difference, and get the SE 17" rims. That should do it for me. Also it needs a wing to spice up the back.
