Help!

I don't know whether this is something that is normal in 4-cylinders or not... but... I was trying to pull out of a parking lot to a main street, so, I pushed on the gas pretty hard so i wouldn't get killed by the car coming up behind me... It felt like the car kinda choked before it took off... It's a 4-cyl. Solara SLE... anyone else had this problem? is it something I should have looked at at the dealer?

okay... not being paranoid... it's done it a few times before... this is just one incident...
