We've researched and had discussions on this in the past and discovered that if you remove the correct lead, you will likely lose your cruise control functionality as well. Some have claimed to have done it without losing anything but the governor, but our questions was never answered as to how that was achieved.

I did the Beta testing for a speed limiter removal box. It should work on any Toyota but will work for sure on 4th gen/Solara. Split Second makes it and it is a frequency clamp, part # FC1-115 and it sells for $73. The speedo still works fine and if you want to run to redline and have the hp your car will do 150 mph with 225/45-17's(mine did on the dyno).

not that i know of..i've been up to about 132 on 295S in Jersey

if you want to go that fast just be careful, do it alone, know the consequences..our cars are built tougher than civics but even 40-60mph accidents can cause great damage..more then double it..

Cool

If i remember correctly. The general consensuse from Clublexus.com is that all 1mz/3mz ES 300's are limited between 132mph and 139mph depending on the model year. (and engine)

3vz-fe ecu has no limiter and will pull until it runs outta steam.

I don't see why a '95 v6 Camry couldn't do 135mph with some open highway.
