Type of Paint?

I dont know if this question has been raised exactly, but i did do a search and didnt find anything in particular

anyway,
Ive got a Gen3 Camry, and for the Surround Panel around the Gear Stick, i want to paint that a Metallic Silver colour
to give it a sort of Brushed Aluminium look

do i need to use a Vinyl paint or will Ordinary car paint do?

I used black krylon fusion to do mine.

ive been to the autoparts shops, and they dont seem to have Metallic Silver paint for vinyl/plastic.....

all there is are spray paints for normal touch up purposes.....will they work? or will they crack when they dry?

why not try painting it with the krylon then painting over it for effect

you can just use regular car paint....just remember to use primer and sand it...
