Oil Filter location

Anyone know were the oil filter is located in a 2004 Camry le 4 cyl??

i think if you look from under the car, you will see it, it is hidden real well, unlike the earlier 5S model

no, not look under the car, go under the car and look up, they design it this way so you don't pour oil out easy.

Its just about even with the rear/center of the pass. tire. (Plastic shields removed of course) on passenger side. Tucked up almost flat with everything else. It IS hard to see. You need a socket type wrench to get it off. (Or on round Mobile1 filters a strap wrench)

Take the new filter to the auto parts store and get one of the custom fit "sockets" that fits your filter about $5 It is probably the only way to get it loose. CW

nothin like an old 5s with the filter right on top... however bronzemaxell is right about the oil leakage..
