I was thinking about getting a new exhaust for my 99 camry but then i saw a little article about exhaust cutouts in SCC.

I was thinking that this would be better for the neighborhood driving as to not piss off the neighbors.

Does anyone else have this on their camry?

Who ever came up with that was damn smart

However I can't imagine that sounding good with that setup. Natural engine sound, but that's not always a great thing to listen to.

think of it this way with a wide open exhuast you gain hp and fuel milage on the highway with a closed exhaust you gain tq and city fuel milage if you do it right you can have it work with your car to get more power thruogh the power band

Well you actually need to do exhaust with it. The cutout needs to be placed in the exhuast system. And it would be really hard to just cut out a section and place it in. So pretty much your only option is to get a exhaust setup and place the cutout within the system.
