My baby's got some new shoes (might not be 56k friendly)
Its been a while, but finally the steelies are gone. my baby has got some new shoes!!!
they are OEM camry sportivo rims, 16x6, riding on 205/60/16.
i got the set for $400 with the original michelin tyres off a mate's boss. they are as new, no scratches, no dings, nothing!!!
however 2 of the tyres need changing, they are about 2-3mm above the tread ware maker, so they are placed at the back. the good tyres have about 80-90% left so they are obviously at the front.
they handle so much better than my old steelies, grips like nothing else.
pix below.

Those look nice. For some strange reason I prefer to just swap stock rims w/ better looking looking OEM wheels rather than buying aftermarket rims (except if it's for size). Those look real nice dude.
for some odd reason last night when i posted this thread, the pix wouldn't load, like it would only show the links and not the pic, but oh well, as long as the pix work.
those rims make my car handle heaps better than steelies. they just grip. but i can't wait to get some new socks (tyres) with those shoes, the back tyres aren't gonna last much longer.
gggrrrrriiiipppp!!!!
