dash warning light on when engine is on

I have a '00 Toyota Camry. Recently I notice that the dash warning light for the REAR TAIL LIGHTS is on whenever the engine is on. I checked and found the left rear tail light is indeed off when the engine is idle. But when the engine is off, I turn on the headlights/taillights and found that the rear tail lights work properly, and that the dash warning light is off. That is, the problem about the left rear tail light occurs only when the engine is idle and/or when I'm driving (Other lights are ok). Any comments will be very much appreciated.

possibly could be a bad relay having to do with the voltage that's going through your car when the engine's on/off...

but it could also just be a bad bulb....change it first and see

After checking all the rear lights in great detail, I found indeed one of them is burnt out. Thanks for advice.
