I plan to paint them as they're scuffed up. Using flexible paint from paintscratch.com. Do you have to apply primer first on plastic ?

It depends on how big the scuffed area is, if we're talking about a scratch, then you don't really have to. If it's a big cross section then it's a good idea to use primer to promote paint adhesion and provide for a color base.

BTW, if you haven't ordered the paint from paintscratch.com, other companies make OEM-matching paint for a lot less money. You don't need special "flexible paint" to touch up your bumper.

how big of any area are you doing? my rear bumper has an area about a foot wide thats scuffed up and the clear coat is peeling. is this paintable and are you applying clear coat?? this would be a big help! thanks!

How bad is the clear coat peeling? If the paint isn't discolored, you don't have to repaint it. Just spray clearcoat. However, "clearcoat in a can" definitely won't be as glassy as the factory finish clearcoat, so the smaller the area the better. It works best with light colors because it's harder to see the difference in reflectivity.
