Heres my advice: The bigger, the better. Try for an 8" tip, if possible.

Thanks for the quick replies. Any web sites you can suggest for buying tips? Welded on vs. friction fit? I'm going for a Euro sedan look...

8" ?
Flickin thing would look like the tail pipe of a small jet engine.

Go light on the rice and check the TRD's exhaust system out.

i plan to get a 3 or 4 inch chrome tip double walled from either magnaflow or flowmaster, something subtle, non ricey but still nice.

search for magnaflow tips online and i'm sure you'll find a online store. usually 20-60 bucks per tip, and they are weld on, the only way to go.

no, bigger = ricier

bigger = WHY?!

if you're gonna do that, why not install an exhaust system with a 4inch pipe down to a 6inch muffler, lose about 95% of your performance you could have gained, all for that rich lawn mower sound so you can fit in well with your friends honda civic down the street...

(supra forums has changed my view on rice, sorry )

This thread is amusing. Get a 3" tip to put on your 2.5" muffler. That's all you need to know. Brand name doesn't matter because it is just painted metal.

Brand name = Pay more
