just make sure the inlet is the same (where it connects) cone size doesnt matter too much, the bigger the more air it can move, generally.

This is the one I have on my custom CAI.
It sits in the front fender just ahead of the wheel well.
It cost me just over $50 C$ back in May 04.

Measure the size of your filter.

Then go here:

http://www.knfilter.com/universal/universal.htm

You want either a round straight or round tapered.

Do you have a 4 or 6? For the V6 use a 3" opening, for the 4, use a 2.5" opening.

i have an I4, 3" tube.

This is what i'm talking about, this same size. i'm afraid if i buy one, it wont fit.

and by looking at that last link, theres about 20 different filter sizes.... i dont like to measure about 10 different dimmensions and i dont feel like it, anyone know a perfect fit for this?

Stop being lazy and go measure it.

All you need is 3 dimensions since you already know the inlet diameter (3"). Top base diameter, bottom base diameter, and length.

make your short ram into a cai, and then you can just buy the biggest filter with a 3" inlet that you can find...

nice and simple that way....

Just so you guys know, straight from the words of K&N, your best filter will be a wide the widest filter you can get, the taller it is doesn't improve flow.

how about this?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

my filter barely squeezes in my engine bay, it has like 1/4 inch of space all the way around it.

i just want one the same size as this APC one i have. (i dont know if its APC, i just know there was an APC booklet in the box)
