I am planning to switch to Intrax springs (I am running on Prokits). I am just no good in looking for Camry parts because all the shops I know only carries Honda stuff!
I don't want to get them from the US. Where do you guys get your Intrax from? Thanks a lot guys.

Hmm... can you define "good ride"? I really don't mind comfort and ride quality... I want to have a lower ride height so I can fully use up my Koni shocks.
But talking about cutting coils, do you know of any shops that cuts coil properly? Thanks guys.

What i mean is that intrax are made cheap and seem to get softer very fast and the just bottum-out for little bumps.getting coils cut is easy just find a suspension shop or a Tuner shop they will do it.
Yeah I haven't heard good things about Intrax either. I wouldn't recommend it.

Tony the Tiger-

BLUEMEANIE, thanks for the link; it was very helpful. It seems like people with Intrax are bouncing and sagging because their struts/shock dampening isn't enough.
Eibach Sportlines will also sag, bottom out and become bouncy if they are on stock shocks (ie: Civic)...but that doesn't mean Eibach springs suck. I think I will go purchase some Intrax springs (after more research BTW) because my Camry will benefit a lot from a lower ride height as well as a higher spring rate. I can literally feel my car getting stiffer and have less bodyroll whenever I carry 2+ passengers, and that's when I discover that my Koni shocks are actually designed for cars lowered excess of 1.5".
Now back to my original question...where can I find Intrax spring locally?

I know speedtech has great prices. Do you know if they do crank pulley installs? I just called and they said that they do. However, are they any good?
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks.

I have asked SpeedTech (DSCR have deals with them), but they had to special order them in and cost heck a lot of $$$ for a set of them... It was like $345 for the front and $300 for the rear or approximately... Something is wrong with their prices because I can get it cheaper through Rodmillen in the US!

I already have the pulley and the belts. I just need them to do the install. I was referring to their labour costs when I said that they have great prices. They quoted me $70 CDN for the pulley (International Auto, whom JRP recommended to do the install wanted $150!).
Speedtech also charged Phi only $120 to do his springs and struts on all 4 corners! They will do my front brakepads for $30 and front rotors for $30 if I want, as well.
I just wanted to know if their workmanship is good and if they are trustworthy and polite.

i've had intrax's on my car with kyb gr-2s since january and i've had no real problems. they handle great although i need to get my whiteline bar for the finishing touch.
i can attest to the so called 'sag' that they get after a while. i only recently noticed this about as far back as august or so (around 7 months of having them on my car). its not a "bad" thing like some people seem to say. it just makes you think your ride quality is getting worse. its not that though, when it comes to cornering, they still perform like theyre supposed to. and the cheapest i heard of were sprint springs (which i heard sucked but theyre not that bad either).
you gotta figure with any car that is lowered your going to sacrifice a little ride quality. im not big on that so it dont matter to me. but good luck with your choice tony.
