Question 3sfe to 3sgte/3sge internals

I want to swap my 3sfe to a 3sgte/ge however this would cost to much and would cause trouble with the law.

If i was to swap the internals of one of these to my 3sfe(91 cam)<if possible - i did a search and it said it would> which parts would i swap and should i buy the whole motor or just the parts needed. (plan to run around 7psi)

may as well swap the whole engine. the trouble with teh law comes from that turbo. if you swapped in a 3sgte then removed the turbo i bet they wouldnt know the difference execpt for an engine bay that looks kinda strange =)

There's no law (at least in the U.S.) against turboing a non-turbo car, so long as it's emissions legal.

If you were to swap the parts, what you would want would be the head, intake and exhaust manifold and possibly the TB (don't know the dimensions of the 3sgte/3sfe TB's)

Short block (block with internals).

Just the internals (crank, pistons, and rods).

Or go aftermarket (pistons and rods). You still need the crank though.

yeh when regestered the engine numbers and stuff are recorded. In the event of a crash i could be sued if the engine had not been engineered/ it would void insurance policy

---> thanks 88LE
