...if you just take out the stock airbox and replace it with a cone filter, you will lose the low-end no matter what cuz your car is sucking the hot air from the engine.
oh ok... so wat benefits do they bring...? just sound? and a lil bit of HP at high end?
oh yeah so dus that mean if u have cold air induction u wont get this problem of losing low-end?

I saw henry's (the pics of it) and I think thats a proper one... look at it
his website is:

the pics of the CAI installation is:

and

The "intake + water" thing is debatable.
Some say they got no problem it.
But it really depends which city you live in (or what kind of weather you'll find in your city.)
Personally I wouldn't put the filter too close to the ground so not too much water will splash into it. And snow is another thing to for us worry about...
PS: I say "proper" because there are lots of people misinterpret the term "CAI".

Yes they will, but headers and exhaust will give you more gain on high-end.
Unless you you're freeing up the whole breathing part of your car (CAI+headers+catback/exhaust), it's hard to notice how much you've gain/lose.
And of course you can always dyno your car to see if the parts that you bought did help out or not.
But I mean you got to think about what you need to sacrifice to gain what you want. Just like suspension, if you want better handling, you need to lose the comfort.
