Camry Drifting! (or ass draggin :P)

not sure if this is the right section, but it's a camry so thought i'd post it here. this is basically me having fun with my parent's car.

Camry Drifting

download while u can, it's only up there for a day. Enjoy

for some of you, if i offended u in anywayz or believe that i have disrespected this car, i am sorry for that i have not meant to in the first place. After this shit, i treated my car real nice and it ran smooth as cream right before i gave it back to my parents. hey comon, i'm just a teenager, i'm sure we all did some crazy shit around that age. besides, i have done everything in my power in this situation to ensure that safety comes first... with the exception of seat belts on my friend.... well, enjoy guys.

Disclaimer: this was done in a parking lot at 4 am at night, and it was done with the highest regards to safety (except for my idiot friend who forgot his seatbelt). This is not street racing nor will it be, and it was done in a parking lot far away from residential area as to not disturb anyone, but viewing this video, you have agreed not to threat, or sue or any other maliciousity you have thought of to me, my family or my friends. Thank you.

No street racing is allowed.
(put a disclaimer saying it was a test track and all drivers are professionals)

Camries don't break so don't worry about disrespecting it. The car is what the car is.

OK I watched it and:
Props for the nice little divx.

However, I was highly dissapointed in that I thought I was downloading atleast video a camry with the ass end stepped way out during turns.

Bro almost any idiot can spin their cars 90-180 in the rain. I know, I've taught idiots that do it LoL!

yeah, it was taken down by my friend to avoid being sued, but fear no more! there's a new link, however it's going to be slow, keep in mind that ur dling from my friend's computer, not some fast servers.

Camry Video Rehost

Thanks for the props Toysrme, I've put the disclaimer to be safe. However, as for the breaking car thing... the day after this was done, i ran some check around the car to make sure it's in good condition before returning to my parents. But my friend (who taped the video) was driving behind me and suddenly called me on my cell and said that my rear wheels were wobbling so we pulled over to a parking lot, jacked the car up, and took off the tired, and noticed that the drum brakes were a little slanted.... and the tire treads were kinda wore off. eek............ but my parents didn't notice yet, haha. also, doing 90-180 in rain is easy yes, but i've done it on dry too, so gimme props for that everybody else, Enjoy, it's up again!

ive always worried about this...how much damage do you do to a cam like mine with 195000 miles on it and you attempt or do actually drift it???

Apparently the only problems on my 97 camry with 130k miles held out pretty good, the only problems i had was the rear wheel alignment that came off from all the sliding which bent the brake drums a bit. Also my tranny overheated from high revs (i avoided redline as much as possible). the only other problems i had was the tire wear, even tho it had 420 treadwear (more than enough for drifting, recommended was 350). i had the front treads become uneven on the sidewalls and the treads. as for the rear tires, all the corners of the sidewalls and tread were smooth, but center still has plenty of tread left. that's about all the damage there is. and i dont see my parents complaining so far....

Cool

No my point is that there is no drifting going on. It's just someone in a parking lot in the rain.

No props for the driving until you are looking out the drivers window and demonstrate your ability to get it back without loosing much momentum.
