Arrow aftermarket front/rear swaybars on stock suspension

just wondering if installing whiteline front/rear swaybars on a totally stock suspension would do anything? reduce bodyroll perhaps?

thanks guys!

Most people don't like front swaybars on Camry's and suggest it makes the car more prone to understeer.

The whiteline rear swaybar I have on my gen3 is wonderful and helps cut down on understeer incredibly. One of the best suspension mods, in my opinion.

You also have the choice of the TRD rear sway bar, its adjustable from street to track. I have one myself, it does wonders. Exactly 150 bucks shipped from Kinderhook Toyota. Check it out and talk to Eddie. 518-758-9211

Good luck,

Rear is a must. It is THE best bang for your buck, IMO.

The initial reaction to a front bar is to say that it will increase understeer (which it could), but also it CAN help the front stick better. Less roll in the front will result in optimal tire contact with the ground, and better grip. I don't know how to determine which the Whiteline FSB will result in though... I suggest you try it out.

Cool

RSB + a GOOD (NOT cheap ebay crap) front tower brace will do wonders for the handling on the stock suspension. Whiteline is an awsome company. They wouldn't develope a fsb replacement, if they didn't think it would provide better handling.

FYI - the Gen3s have a larger front swaybar from the factory than the Gen4, that's why Whiteline didn't develop one for that model.

My Gen4 benefitted from both Whiteline sway bars (front and rear). My car is very neutral with both bars, whereas some people (mostly those with the V6) complain of too much understeer with both swaybars upgraded. I'd start with a rear bar in your application, my guess is that it'll give you the best bang for your buck...

HTH -

Toysrme is the only one who answered my question really i was thinkin of gettin the whiteline front and rear sway bars, not cheap ebay shit, this will cost me about $570 canadian shipped. Now im not sure if the front sway bar is worth almost $300 canadian......rear and front are same price, I might just go with the rear, can someone answer if it will decrese body roll with my stock suspension? or maybe get rid of it completely Thanks!

Cool

It's impossible to erase all the body roll, you'd need springs/struts or coilovers for that. Yes it will take a good portion of the body roll out.
The best illistration I can tell you is that the car will no longer drive like you're towing an 18ft trailer behind you when you put just a RSB on it.

You can get it from forum member soundlzrd. He runs www.ctmotorsport.com, just keep in mind he has a notorious habit of shipping very very slowly if he doesn't have stuff in stock.

Are you sure they're different? Camry wagon should be the same as everything else I would think. I may be wrong but isn't the Camry Wagon the closest thing brake/suspension wise to an ES 300?
