"build your own" toyota

1st post here. much wrench experience. currently 95 1.6 5-sp corolla and 99 subaru leg l sedan 2.2l 5-sp. question is this: just printed out a "build your own" camry se just the way i want it, what kind of leverage do i have in walking into a dealer with the printout versus buying a lot car? will they come off retail very much when ordering versus lot car? i can still walk out the door if they don't deal.

Perhaps take all the features of your "build your own car" And e-mail or fax them all the features you want. Usually you will get a much better deal than negotiating.

If you know exactly what you want than just call your local dealership's fleet/internet dept. Ask if they have the vehicle you are looking for in-stock. They will either have it in stock or most likely they will be able to do a dealer trade with another dealer. You can also email the the internet dept and describe what you wanted. Shop over the phone with a few local dealerships then go with whatever one you feel would be best. Keep in mind that if they have the vehicle in stock that they would be more willing to give you a better price.

Where do you live?
