brake problems

When I brake hard coming to a complete stop, my front right brakes squeak, and my car veers to the left. i literally have to turn the wheel a little to the right just to keep it straight. it squeaks sometimes at low speeds even if im not braking but only at low speeds. Do I need new brake pads, to get my rotors turned...new caliper? any ideas? thanks for all ur help!

you need new pads man and a good pressure bleed. check motiveproducts.com for a decent pressure bleeder. if yer squeeking, you're damaging the rotor.

sorry for stupid questions but im no experts on brakes...or really much anything other than car electronics

Is flushing the fluid out the same thing as doing a pressure bleed - and what exactly does that do to improve it? I figured i needed new pads...i'll have to look at the rotors but i think they're probably screwed.

any cheap places for rotors/pads? the cheaper the better cuz im planning on upgrading my subs/amp soon

Rotors can be bought in the $25 dollar area per rotor. I got mine for that much with a 2 year warranty.

Brake pads on the other hand, you don't want to get cheap ones. The only thing that stops your car besides a solid object, are the brakes. Get a Bosch set for about $45.00 or so.

And get some caliper grease, it's ~$3.00 for a packet so you won't be breaking the bank.
