I need help!

Okay I bought Silver Stars for my 95 Cam and cannot get the connectors to stay on/fit back in. I searched here and looked through my manual and I have been putting them the right way back on...is there a trick I don't know about?

Cool

Laruen the plastic is probably very weak. You didn't break the locking tabs off getting them off did you? On that note, they are also directional. They won't stay if you push them on upside down.

Put the connector on before you turn it down. I ahd the same problem when I put my HID's in and moved my silverstars to the highbeams. I just put the connectors on before turning the bulb to lock it in.

Tell Joe if he doesn't go wrench on your car and fix it I'm going to kick his ass.

You can't get the original bulb out? It should turn right out. Counter-clockwise

Thanks Toysrme and Mike. They look good!

Great! I need to ask one thing though. Yall didn't get finger prints on the bulbs did you? If yall did they need to come back out and be cleaned. That'll destroy the glass over time.
90% of the time early bulb failure = human error.

I rank the cases as:
1) Idiots putting way to much power through the stock harness
2) Fingerprints/oil/misc crap left on the glass and not cleaned off.

Sometimes aftermkt bulbs aren't made EXACTLY to spec which results in poor fitment. Kinda like your high heels. Not all size 6 are the same

Glad you and Joe finally got them in though

Toysrme Yeah I know they need to stay clean. I warned Joe as soon as I handed it to him. "Don't touch the bulb!" He looked at me and grumbled something. (I need a car-friendly boyfriend I guess. )

Phi Yeah I noticed the bulbs had two lines of plastic down the back side and the old bulbs had just one line. I took my nail file and filed them down a bit. They still fit snuggly, because I made my fingers red from shoving them in!

They are in and look amazing! (Just like a pink pair of Manolos)

She's more car-freak than 95% of Toyota Nation! She did the 9005 swap! Such a rare one indeed.

cgts, glad you like them.

You swapped your high beams and your lows..... Was that the intent?
