leaking windshield

03 Camry

I bought my camry in August.

Anyways, when ever it rains the ceiling of the car around the sunglass holder/reading light gets soaked and about 1/4 gallon of water pours out into my interior.

I assume there is a leak in the seal of the windshield. Does any one know if there is a quick fix for this? or is this one for the proffesionals.

This only happens when it rains hard. And it has been raining hard quite often

Advice appreciated

If you have a sunroof then the drains are probably clogged and the sill tray is overflowing.

This could be a warranty repair job by Toyota. Maybe your windshield was replaced by the prior owner and came with a warranty also. Most auto shops carry a 3M or similar windshield sealer that flows under the gasket to seal. I can say from experience with an old leaky Saab windshield that it works if you know exactly where the leak is.
