hello everyone,
I'm thinking of getting semi-cheap new rims cus i'm tired of the crappy hubcaps. I have a Gen5 2003 Camry LE. It currently has the stock 15" wheels and tires and i'm thinking of getting new rims. The one i want is a 17x7.5 rim. is this too wide??? And what size of tires should i get. I'm worried about tire rubbing. And once i get 17" rims will i have to lower it or else it looks pretty gay being even higher than what it already is? O_O
To tell you the truth, 17's might look small.
I don't think its too wide, that thick body should be able to handle the width. I've seen 20" on a camry.
20" too much $$... heh was wondering about that 7.5 thickness thing cus i see mostly 7 inches and wondering if a 7.5 is too wide... will the car be any higher compared to the tiny 15" wheels?

20" even on a '05 will cause rubbing. And they cost wayyy too much. 17" will look perfect. Never in a million years would they look small. They'll fit your look good and won't be oversized like the look a lot of people do when they go to 18" and up on imports. And you won't even have to worry about dropping it. Not unless your going for the full race ride look.
Go for the 17" all the way
