cam timing

I'm putting a reman head on a camry and I need the alignment for the cams. My books skip the pictures for a 5SFE. Any help appreciated. 98 camry

Use the first set (timing marks) of marks on both cams.

Be sure the #1 piston is @ top dead center when you do that too, otherwise... Hahahaha let's just say it'd be really really funny for mean people!

It may not be an interferance motor, but what ya gonna do when your timing is off by a bit and you have shitty performance(and have to tear everything abck off and fix it), or you're off an entire fucking stroke and you suck air through the exhaust and blow it into the back of the TB.

Only way that'll happen is if the timing belt is installed wrong.

IE: #1 is at TDC, but the cams are 180 degrees off.

I always invision that when someone actually tries it on purpose; Worst case will be that as soon as enough fuel drips back into a cyl and ignities it'll explode in the head, up the intake manifold, into the upper intake and the throttle body plate will proceed to exit the side of the car. =)

Anyone wanna buy a used toyota engine and vidoe it, cause i've secritly been wanting to see that for months.

seeing that the cam sensor won't let the spark fire with the valves open I'd say that'd be hard to have happen, however if you really wanna see it try rearranging the plugs for the coils and fuel injectors and it can happen.
