alternator

Last night i was out for the first time by myself giveing my cam a workout.

I got to trafic lights and the car starts splutering and the lights dim i have enouigh momentum to go before the engine conks out.

I got it jump started this morning, and have had no problem, the battery holds charge and everthing else seems fine. Could it be an intermintant problem with the alternator?

BTW new top speed set for my 91 I4 185km/hr

it could most likely be the alternator, or it could be the sensor/relay or whateve rits called that senses how much of charge your battery has.....if your alternator always thinks that your battery is charged even when its not, then your battery'll die

sounds like your alternator, and or battery, iv always had both go out on me...thank goodness for autozones life time warrenty on the alternator

i have had a bit of trouble with the last battery, i got a new one. Is the alternator going to keep doing it? i did 150km today and it didnt stop.

Could it have to do with me thrashing it just before it stoped?
