Australia V6 Heads

Does anyone know if any other heads would fit onto a 2VZFE 2.5L V6 that would be benifical for it?

Car has extrators at the moment too.

Cool

Well going off on a limb, the 3vz-fe heads would probably fit, seeing how the 2vz/3vz both have 87.5mm bores. Assuming the rest of the VZ block didn't change much and the coolant/oil passages lined up, there still wouldn't be much point to it. If you want more power from the heads just have the stock heads ported & polished.

Cool

Which brings up a good question I've never cared to research.

What is the differance between the USDM 2vz-fe, and the 2.5L 4vz-fe the rest of the world used.(instead of the 2vz)

4VZ...Ive never heard of that. My motor is the 2VZ motor which is a JDM unit. The first model of the JDM V6's. I was lucky because if the car was a 89+ model, most likey it would have had the 1VZ, the 2.0L V6.

JDM never got teh 2VZ, they only got the 1VZ (the 2.0L)

Cool

I just wonder why the Japanese/Asian & possibly Aus. market cars like the Toyota Camry Prominent used the 4vz from 1991 VZV32 & VZV33 through 1994. Which leads to the question. Was the 4vz really a new version of the 2.5L 2vz, or is it a typo a thousand times over???

I bet it's a real engine, we just don't know about it.
