Hey, I just installed some j-spec trd struts and h&r springs in my 99 camry. Now granted I have never ridden this set-up before but it seems very bouncy, even for a preformance suspension system. Is this normal? Does it need time to settle? It's not really a bad thing, I am just curious.

My brother installed H&R's on his 89 supra, and they were very bouncy as well. they had the lowest drop advertised for supra springs, and perhaps to get that drop had to be very tight, thus creating a very harsh ride. i felt i needed a kidney belt after riding home from PA one year with a bad hangover and the H&R's underfoot.

He since sold them to someone else who installed them and then sold them to someone else who also removed them and sold them again. That was as far as i tracked them.

You know actually I drove next to an Acura RSX TypeS with a huge drop, and it seemed very bouncy...Almost as if he had some hydralic suspensions. I could actually see the car bouncing... My Mustang with Eibach never did that...
