Unhappy big trouble in Camry town

well lets see... i have a 95 cam with an new(er) engine in it with rougly 107k miles on it. The tranny has its original 187k and now today... i have a air leakage somewhere... so now it idles at 3k !!
and when im drivin it almost feels like the cruise control is on... friggen sucks... so... all in all i need opinions... do you think it would be worth it to spend money on a new tranny and fix the air leakage or just get a new car ($4500)

Cool

Why do you want to replace the transmission? Doesn't sound like anything wrong but air leaks/missing vacuum lines...

If you wanna be my guiney pig, put some of Seafoam's tran-tune in your car and drive it for a week. Then take it to a shop and have it 100% flushed out.

Cool

Noone knows. If it's like normal Seafoam, it'll put additives and stuff, but most importantly it'll collect on dirty & stuff and it'll get caught in the filters.

Fix the air leaks, then worry about the other stuff.
