you can search the internet to find out about ceramic coating. more than anyone on TN knows.. unfortunately there are under 25 camrys with a turbo on them. prolly only 2 or 3 of them have ceramic coating on their turbo manifolds or downpipes. this isnt the place to ask this question.
i have those headers. i think it's to reduce the heat...mauybe. not too sure. but i know they are awesome and sound great, and add some extra hp/torque (especially w/ a full catback system).
any questions you can ask me. you'll have to call rippmods directly to order it. i got it for $425 w/ about $30 s/h i think

how about instead of spending 450 for 15 hp, you save up 5 times that and get a turbo kit (+75-100hp) for next season. SGP kits will be out for next season.
true, very true. you have to think bec w/ turbos, no need for headers. but w/ a s/c, a header is almost a must.
for me, i knew i didn't have enough $$$ for either, but if i did, i would rather do s/c (from rippmods too), so i went w/ headers. no regrets so far

ripp = 3200 or whatever it is now. headers = 450.
why spend 3650 on a supercharger for a 75hp gain when you can turbo yourself for 1500 for a 75 hp gain. or you can get the SGP kit when it is released for next season for 2500 bucks and get a 75-100hp gain, reliable and tested.
I did say "hey guys, whats so great about turbo's?"... i was thinking about a turbo kit for the 5sfe. but untill i read up on ripp mods, they have a tuners package, which is like 2800$... although at 5psi only adds like 40-50hp... its safe daily driving 40-50hp... unlike with turbo kits, where you will almost always run into a problem.

very true. that's what i heard. if you want to turbo it, most people suggest fixing up the engine first (forged internals, etc), but w/ s/c it's not always needed.
hey zoni, maybe i've been out of it, but what is SGP kit? any more info on that? i htought burien turbo is the only commercial turbo out now for the 5SFE...unless you go custom

SGP kit is the Shiftgate performance turbo kit which is going to be out soon. It was supposed to be out a few months ago but I guess there were some problems that they ran into and the realease was delayed.
I don't have the site off the top of my head but you can talk to zonicamry on AIM or thru pm. He, I'm sure will be more than happy to help you and talk to you about it.
