Talking another 5sge thread

my dad got a 89 toyota pickup with a blown engine for $400. i just recently finished installing the rebuilt engine (22re) now i will be able to use the 92 camry (5sfe) to commute to school everyday. this is way better than my 02 V8 silverado. the thing is that the car has 205,000 miles (with like 20,000 miles rolled back in like 98 according to carfax) the engine is "tired" so i kinda wanna rebuild it before it fails on me.
i was looking around to see what i can do to this engine. what ive found is since i have 92 block i should be able to swap the ge head on no problems? if so what compression ratio em i looking at? i want something i can ran 91(cali) octane. depending, should i mill any? also should i stick with the 5sfe intake manilfold or switch to the 3sge manifold if possible? would the 3sge ECU "plug n play" or do i have to mess with re-pinning? im thinking OEM internals with just some ARP bolts and studs.
how much cash u think this rebuild gunna set me back? ballpark.
also will it be worth it? or should i just rebuild it OEM and be done with it? i was thinking might as well see what i can do with it while its out ya know. but also dont wanna spend too much.

any suggestions or tips apreciated THANKS
