rattling problem

On the front passenger side of my car i hear a noise like something is loose when ever I go over a medium or large bump. I think it may be the suspension. Im not sure whether something is loose, something is broke, or if its a normal noise. Its kindof hard to tell though. Everything looks fine and the car drives fine but that noise has been getting to me. Any suggestions or is this just a normal noise? Thanks Chris

What kind of noise are we talking about here? Clicking noise, clunking? If its coming from near the strut area, it could be the strut itself, bad spring, axle or just a torn insulator (the rubber)

I dont think it would be a strut. Im thinking the spring is it. but it sounds like a clunk noise.

I thought I wrote this before. But i believe you need your timing belt replaced. I'd say that is the most likely cause of the noise. It sounds like something is loose right?

Yeah, but the timing chain looks brand new, and i only happens when i hit bumps.

Most likely the strut mount, and they usually go from the RH side first, ( heaver load from the engine maybe? ) All old camrys I've seen, including mine had more or less of it.
Well, some times a good torque ( 49lb ft or so, don't go too crazy ) will fix it, this is in my case. But some times it requires replacing the strut mounts. While at it, just do both. ( it's 100 dollars each from dealer and maybe 50 from KYB, parts alone).
