My 95 camry wagon has 146000 miles, and for that past month something has been going on with my trans. it shifts really hard in to every gear but 2nd, it does not leak any fluid tho. The car has also gone though a full tune up. what could be the prbolem.

Check your fluid level and condition.

But I think your tranny has expired.

You can try to mess with it, but imho, that would be burning $$$.
Trust me, I am one of those monkeys that could have saved quite a few bucks if I just called it like I was told.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news.
Save those bucks.

you could try some seafoam trans-tune, buy a bottle and put a pint or so in your transmission and drive it for a bit, then have the fluid and filter changed, may or may not help but worth a shot!

should i have it rebuilt, or just try to find a used one.

Thats the thing, i don't have $$ to put in to it, im only 17, and i need this car to last, and the car its slef is in perfect condition. i can't buy a new car.

http://phoenixhardparts.com/ has rebuilts for $800.
You have to ship your old tran back to them after, so $350 deposit (core).
It cost $160 each way.
V6 tran swap is intense so figure about 5-$700.

I did it with no regrets. except 5 speed ... droool
