Hello everyone!
Have an '88 3S-FE A/T ECT trans Camry with a very weird behavior.
It suddenly stop running one day. I've checked as following:
Cranks: ok
All fuses: ok (3 fuse boxes)
Spark: ok
Gas PSI: Not at all.
CEL shows: 12-14-57 (Ignition problems and A/T lever position sensor) Then, after reset, CEL didn't shows again, not even in "on" position. Same thing with "alt" trouble light.
ECU and Igniter: ok after professional check.
Distribuitor: ok after laboratory check.
Fuel pump works ok if I jump "Fp" & Batt"+", actully I've started the car, it runs fine, but there's not "Fp" signal in line.
Also, with engine running, there's not signal to engine fan, and A/T is not coppling in any position.
So, with a jumper between "Fp" and batt positive, engine runs, but there's not fuel pump signal, alternator signal coming and going intermitently (12V to 14.3V then back to 12V) not engine fan signal when hot, not A/T reaction in any running position.
Can somebody tell me what's going on with this machine?
