I'm having a problem with my Camry 00. Every time when I switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator, the accelerator doesn't response promptly. I have to press hard to get it start off. Also, I can hear a faint chirking sound when I release the brake pedal. Does anyone know what could be the cause?

gg fly by wire throttle, live with it. dont know about your brake problem sorry, maybe pads wearing?

For problem number 1, "Having to press hard to get it to start off" try cleaning the throttle body. The butterfly valve inside of it is probably sticking within the throttle body housing. This is a common problem as the car gets a few miles on it.

fly by wire, its just the ECU holding him back =) common problem for every car with fly by wire and no "sport" mode button.
