Who would use a hammer or axe to break into a car?

Yes this is the problem with the carbon fiber trunks... If I were to use a hammer it would definitly give ... So will the hood among other this... It comes down to it, If someone wants to steal your stuff or your car... They will

axes and hammers eh....you must live in a pretty rough neighborhood

Personally id save all that trouble and smash the drivers side to open up the trunk with the latch

sorry if i said hammer or axe it was the first thing that pop into my head...anyways carbon fiber are made to be light to reduce weight this makes it easy for screwdriver, prying tools, or even those mini battery operated cuttnig tools.. My question was do they make the CF trunk thicker or more resistant, since most cars their back seats can fold down which is why I brought this up. Thanks.

To address the problem of audio equipment being stolen from my trunk I did the following:

(1) I went to the hardware store and picked up some L brackets and screws
(2) I screwed the amp to the enclosure
(3) I L-Bracketed the enclosure to the trunk floor

Cool

That is a fucking horrible idea.
I'm a big stickler on having access to everything, and not riding with usefuls tuff out of my car.

I'm a fucking idiot also... When I first installed my old 10" Kicker L5's(Before they blew and got L7's) I bolted the boxes into the frame and the AMP on an isolated plywood pad bolted to the frame.

Big, Big mistake... Within two weeks someone had slashed one of my tires at work. They did a horrible job so me and the GF are pimping @ Hardee's and on the way back BLOOM!
No biggie... We're in the middle of the hood, I'm a white guy driving a Lexus and I got a flat. (Pulls the Beretta out of the locked glovebox) Pop the turnk and oh mother fucker...

So yes, I can call you a fucking idiot for that idea, because I'm a fucking idiot too.

put a shock sensor on your trunk lid for your security system... and if you answer that you dont have a security system, then you REALLY arent concerned with securing your car.
