windshield wiper very slow

Hi, i think my windshield wiper mechanism is dirty ... how i can clean it and oil it?

Not sure how to clean it, but are you sure that it's dirty? It could be that it's not getting enough power - my windshield wipers were going really slow too, turns out the alternator was dead. I would check the voltages from your battery just to make sure.

Is it just me, or does everyone else wipers bang down hard when they go down ? Mine are so annoying that I hate to use it. My aunts in her 01 Camry sound rough too. They do seem to go normal speed though, however I do wish they were intermittent

I think the mechanical is dirty because; the wiper engine make a little sound and this sound have appear last winter ... how i can unbuilt it ?

i reply to me ... lol ... i have unbuilt the cover of the whiper mecanism ... i have oil all the mobile pices and now the speed is good ... if you do that, CAUTION: the air vent of the passenger compartment is here!!! And now, i smell the WD-40 all the time :s (it's less today ) ...
