hey...yes i HAVE SEARCED...posting a thread just in hopes...
i have a 98 toyota camry 5sfe
i am trying to find a header for it...from what i found im will be lucky if i get 5-8 hp out of it..anyone know where a good place to find an inexpensive but good header????
also, if anyone with a vehicle like mine has put on new header...did you notice a significant diff??? what about a new camshaft??? how was that??? thanks
Header don't necessary give you lots of max HP. It flaten out the curve so you get more at all rpm. I'll take 1HP at all RPM then only 10 at max.
Non-Aspirated means non breathing. A non beathing engine will get 0 gain from any mod, even if you put a SC on it.
NA -> Naturally Aspirated
Header will give you nice throttle respond. Get only 4-2-1 header for street use. 4-1 is for highend HP only.
yup, rippmods headers. i got it on my 2000 camry 5sfe. about $450 shipped. don't bother unless you have intake and full exhaust system. but with those 3 together you'll definitely feel a gain. and the sound is love the sound! you might see some gains w/ just the headers alone, but i'm not positive. i had the intake first, then exhaust system, and finally headers
dude....you need to stop talking about DYI CAI no one cares...this is about a cheap hearder not CAI...there 100 post of you Showing Or telling about a CAI just stop....
Cheapest header will probly be the brospeed since you have a 98 5sfe you have 2 o2 plugs....you will have to have a motorsports shop or a muffler shop prob a another hole in the header for the sencond o2
