56K :( TRD body kit pics and new gauges (large pics, but that is fun...)
Well guys i got my TRD kit on a couple weeks ago, and i think it looks very very good... I was a little tentative at first since i thought it would not be a dramatic change, but imo you cannot really do the camry TRD gen4 kit justice without seeing it in person... All the toyota pics are on a stock height car, and when you have it lowered and can see the curves in person it is really cool, i even like the back end a bunch now too (which is what i thought i would like the least)
The thing i have noticed that it really does is to fix the rear wheel gap all around the wheel, the way the back shapes fits the wheel better with the rear skirts...
But enough talking... here are some pics
and then another thing i did, since i had some time over winter break was to change my shifter knob and my interior gauge set up... As you know i love carbon fiber, it is very pimp, but i was not a big fan of the way it looked on the gen4 kit i got on eBay. It is realy carbon and all, but i just think that the fitment was less that ideal and so i took it off except for the piece around my mirror/neon/gauge dimmer switches. I then also took out the switch panel under my CD player and put in a 3din gauge cluster, so now i have aif/fuel(broken new one on order). vacuum, voltmeter, oil presure, and oil temperature. you may ask why all the gauges, well long story short, i just had oil pressure and voltmeter and then when i hooked up my oil pressure i had another sender for oil temp, then i needed and extra gauge pod and wanted them by the cd player, so to fill the holes, i got more gauges It is kinda like when the woman tells you to clean the garage, you start to organize something and end up ripping it all down and building a new one

looking good dude! i have the same TRD kit on my gen 4.5. but my interior doesn't look as good as yours...love all those gauges and it looks really clean. excellent!
b-e-a-utiful looks awsome man. any plans to somehow wrap your A-pillar gauge pod in cf? i also really like your switches infront of the shifter
hmmm.... carbon pilars... i have some naked cf @ home so maybe i can look @ that over christmas break when i got FREE TIME!!!!!!
but yeah thanks for all the compliments, crazy troy that you say that cuz out of the hundreds of feedbacks i have got on the wheels, never had anybody not like them, but you are entitled to opinion hehe
in the future i am looking at a couple things for sure
-carbon hood
-whiteline sway bars
i would like to get a TRD s/c but i have trouble saying up that large a sum of money, also i really need to learn more about tuning since if i spend that muchm i wanna get the most that i can out of it
i also want to do some custom projectors, HID's, and connected side markers, but i have read up on them and i am worried i would have glare or blind the hell out of others, and i don't wanna be responsible for any accidents, cuz sometimes on the highway when there is the oncoming lane driving from school, i see cars that are totalled out of whack with their lights and i can't see.... other than that yeah HID's look real nice
