Intake Installation HELP!!

I've just gotten a short-ram intake off of ebay (35$shipped) gonna put an extension to make it CAI. I've looked at some set ups of the installation, but i dont see where to connect the little rubber tubing! Does anyone know where or have it picture of where it connects to?

You have to use vB code, not HTML... [ IMG ] imagelocation [ /img ] would give you the pictures, just remove the spaces.

I've never worked on a 5sfe, so don't quote me here, but it's most likely the air recirculation tube...or something along those lines....your stock intake should have one on the tubing too...it should connect to your actual engine, around the head area....that's how it's like on the 1mz

and don't worry, the install won't be as complicated as it may seem....once you tear everything out of your car, it'll become more clear how it fits, and what goes where....the only hting you may have to do, if there isn't already as hole is drill a hole for your air temp sensor (I think that's what the 5sfe has)

good luck

WHen I was working on my friends celica Gt(5sfe) there was no crank case breather tube from the intake.

DOn't worry about it though, all will be revealed when you remove the stock hardware.

Ok...i've taken everything off the camry, all intake related parts (besides the pipe that goes in front of the well) i still dont see any tubing that was connected to the original plastic intake. All i saw was the sensor that plugs into the box above the filter. I do see that the valve cover has a tubing going to the throttle but i dont think that i need to take that tube off the throttle and into the custom intake. So if anyone of you have a picture of where it goes it'll be much help!

if you cant find a place dont worry about it, more then likey that thing would be made to suit multiple cars. if theres nothing to plug into it, just plug it up.

Erbe is right. Also be sure that the small black tube goes from the throttle body to the sensor unit. Here are a few pics.
