If you have any kind of mechanical experience and a few tools, you should be able to do your brakes yourself. It's pretty easy, and you save yourself like $60.
Pick up a Haynes manual, and that will be good enough to guide you through the process.
I got TRD pads before reading this board too carefully, and apparently they create alot of brake dust. I've only had my TRD pads on for about 3 weeks, but I haven't noticed alot of dust, yet. They do squeal sometimes, which is annoying. But they do work well.
Call a few shops in your area if you're not comfortable doing it yourself and see what places are charging, and if there's any warrantee. Then compare that to the dealer.
