Driver side brake lights not working!

Well this has been happening for quite some time now, and now that i've found ToyotaNation to be very helpful , i've thought you guys can help me out on this. I've found what the problem is that causes the driver side brake light to be off when braking. It was the socket in which the 1157 bulb goes into, the wires that are inside the adapter must be loose or something. I was wondering where I might find one of those parts. I've been to AutoZone all i found was a 1157 for GM vehicles, sure it'll fit the light bulb but it wont twist onto the brake light holder so i want a original or oem fitment 1157 brake socket. If you know a place please let me know. PS try to avoid Toyota dealers

You could try to modify the housing or the socket to make a universal to fit.

You could try a junkyard.

On the 92-96 parts list that was posted they are shown avail and at $22
