Massive Oil Leak..possibly front main seal

My gf's 96 I4 has developed a steady (drip a second) oil leak. I replaced the oil pan gasket hoping that was it but it didnt fix anything. I brought the car to a shop and they said they cant pin point the leak, even with the dye test. They said most likely it was oil pump or cam seal (front main seal). The car has 190,000 miles and hasn't had any maintenance (these cars are amazing). It also has the original timing belt, so I was thinking of doing everything at once. Is there any write-ups of the timing belt procedure along with the front end seals (oil pump)? Thanks for your help.

This may be why the seals are shot. Check the year make on the door.

That same website has some basic timing belt instructions.

Main seals can sometimes be repaired with an eazy sleeve, but if you'r tearing it apart anyways.., if may be easier to find the leak or replace more seals.

The dealer is going to make the repairs. Front Main seal (crank seal), oil pump seal, valve cover gasket and distributer seal. That, along with the timing belt, is just under $600. That should take care of everything except the rear main seal (I did the oil pan gasket) Thanks for your help.

You sure its the original timing belt? Dont think ive ever seen one last 190K miles. It seems odd that they cant find the leak even with the dye test. I just did a 93 camry 4 cyl. oil pump gasket that I had to use dye on to pinpoint. Had a steady drip running down the lip of the oil pan. Not a fun job, 7 hours labor. but after all that work the car should last you another 100K miles.
