I am asking for help in finding the parts that I need to make this car what I want it to be.
I am re-doing a '97 Toyota Camry LE (I-4 - auto trans) into a V6 LE Supercharged piece of beauty. Will be adding a bodykit, performance parts, interior will be re-done as well as adding quality audio. If I supply a list of parts, please assist me in finding the cheapest quality parts you can.
I'm building a showcase car for advertising my company on it, we will be showcasing in CT, NY, NJ and down the East Coast.
As we progress, I will provide pictures of the work being done so you can enjoy the experience with me.
Thanks for reading this fellas, I already gathered some parts already, but let me know if anyone is interested and I will supply a complete list of parts I am going to need.

Well. First off, you should be looking as to what you ultimately want to end up with. Like you said you want a V6, I'm sorry to report hat this will be anything but cheap, there are lotsa little parts needed, aside from the engine and tranny. Personally, I would advise to scope out a 97 V6 if you want to go that road. Otherwise, leave the powerplant alone for the most part. Kits, hoods, rims, springs, struts, bars and the rest aren't too bad (cheaper aftermarket than OEM Toyota). Write a list out, and post it. If this is a project that you're hell bent on, you can do the v6 swap...just have your credit limit upped. Sorry for the pesimism, but it can be done....just takes oodles of $

Very often we get people that ask for a "list of parts", either 3S-GTE swaps or what not. I hope you know what you're doing because there are only a handful of people that have got some real work done to their Camrys. Cheap quality parts (for Camry) is an oxymoron.
Please go through the Camry FAQ which is sticky'd on the top of the forum. It already has a list of aftermarket parts that are readily available. If you couldn't find anything from here or google, most likely you'll have to go custom.
IMO, doing a 4-cyl to V6 swap is a waste of effort. Might aswell sell it and get a V6 if you really want the V6.
Do a search and you will find some useful posts by other users here.

Pesimism is good bro, I welcome it all. I will be putting forth thousands of dollars, just to say "I did it", because not many people do supe up their Camry's. 100% of the pictures you see on the internet of '97 Camry LE's are with different rims, a quality audio system, some have body kits but it's rarely seen. I'm going the whole route like Eddie did except he had a V6 to begin with. I am going all the way from the engine swap (yes, there is a lot of parts needed) to the body kit to the audio system last. I welcome anyone interested in helping me spot parts, I already have a list but I am still picking and choosing based on our company income which is sponsoring this project car. Bottom line: we're going all out and it'll take much shopping and hardwork to do so.
UfoZ8myCow: I hadn't seen any I-4 turbo's for the '97 Camry
EKam: I respect what you say, I know what I am doing, just looking for some input on my list of parts, questions if I have any, and involve you guys with a fun project. Your right about the cheap quality parts, they won't be cheap at all, I meant that I want to find the best deals on quality parts. I would sell and get the V6 Camry, but I have a few people interested in buying the I-4 engine (56K miles rebuilt by Toyota, orig. engine went at 99K miles) once I find a V6 to swap with.

Yea I spoke with Eddie, he referred me to this site so here I am.
I've looked on eBay for a V6 swap but all I seen is gen 2 and 3 engines. I will probably spot small parts from there, but mainly everything will come from other sources.
im not being helpful here but ... i have a 99 camry le with a/t 5sfe i4 ... and i have had a feelin tat it's hopeless to boost a 3speed + o/d luxery ... altho i DO wanna make the most outta it
with a budget of course ... i can't pull out as much as someone who wants to swap a v6 for sure :P
Do a search then... There are a bunch of people on here with turbo 5SFEs (me included). Most of them are gen 3s, but its the same motor nonetheless. There are also S/C kits and turbo kits already available on the market. We have a few people here on the board that are RippMods supercharged on their 5SFEs. Sounds like you need to do some research before you dive into a project car as complicated as a Camry... Searching here is a good place to start.
I have done a lot of research, but I never considering doing anything to the 5SFE especially since I have been told it was pointless by others but now that you have told me a little more about it, It has shined some light on the idea, I will explore it nonetheless but keep in mind that I am still aiming at supercharging a V6.
Another person who wants to get into the engine swapping? There is a lot of work. My recommendation, if money is not an issue, is to get a wrecked from behind camry with a V6. As long as the car runs fine, but the body is wrecked causing the car to be totalled, you have yourself a full running engine. Every single part you want will be there, and you won't really need a list. I speak from experience. I planned on this swap for two years then my friend actually found a wrecked from behind camry V6 5spd that ran well. After you are done with the car, you can part it out, or keep some of the similar parts for your own car. It's been 4 years since i started thinking about swapping.
One side noe, I only swapped the engine because the car was running like crap, and I had done a major tune up with very little results. If it is still good, I wouldn't change anything, otherwise there will be tons of knowledge you will need to know, because some things to be fixed may not be so simple bringing it to a mechanic.
Are you going to do the work yourself?
Good luck

What kind of Company??? What's it's name?
And as for your V6 swap, get a 3MZ-FE 3.3 Liter Beast. I'm not sure but I'm thinking a 5-Speed manual tranny from an 1MZ-FE will fit the 3MZ-FE. When you rebuild the engine replace the 10.5 CR pistons for some nice dished ones. Then move your passenger(ONLY) side fire wall back about 6" to give you some room for your turbo setup.

If you got new cams for the 5SFE it'd fare a lot better, the cams on a 5SFE are very restrictive.
You can send your cams to webcams to have them hardweld, which if you choose this option, I strongly suggest you have them then heat-treated and/or powder coated for added durability.
If you were to do this in combination with turboing/supercharging the 5SFE, you'd be able to produce a good amount of power. Even if you wanted, you could build the auto-tranny.
Regarding swaps.
Talk to Zoni - He did a i4 to v6 on his gen 3. But it'll give you a general idea.
I don't kno "i4 to v6 swap" very well but talk to him too.
For all the money you use in swapping, might as well turbo it.
Build the engine up. Forged everything. Beef everything up.
Turbo it.
Then run 20 psi.
Might want to swap manual too if you know how to drive it. If you do that the BOV sound will be much better. Search the hardcore/tech section. There was a discussion, Lots of good info.
