Canada Hello guys and girls I'm new here! About to buy a Camry

I would like to say Hello to everyone i tried to subscribe yesterday but i didn't manage it didn't work, anyway I currently drive an Accord 93 5 speed 2 door but after trying a 94 camry yesterday I decided to sell it. Saturday I will go at the garage to check out the Camry on the lift, while I tried it yesterday I didn't hear any strange noises or anything funny.

It has a/c electric everything the 5S-FE 2.2l 100k miles, she just got the car from her father who is my neighbor and he always took care of it, it's very clean. If everything goes well next thursday I will go at the registration office. BTW she was selling it for 5500$ can but I brought it down to 4500$

What would the price difference for the inssurance be compared to the Accord ? I don't think it will be a big difference tho.

My first 3 Corollas had over 100K miles at purchase. All were incredible. My current Corolla is very near 100K with only 1 MAF sensor and basic maintenance.

Someday I will get a Camry they are the ultimate. Welcome, Congrats & Good Luck.

It shouldn't be a difference, should be the same.

Don't think there's going to be difference for the insurance. There are more young drivers with Accord but Camry holds more value.

Congrats on your new purchase and enjoy your time here.

Cool

You are 20 so there will be less than $15 price differance.
The insurance for under 25 year old males is amazingly high.

I'm 21. Even with an awsome insurance company, the same rules apply. (US dollar)

It costs within $20 per 6 months to insure a 1980 VW Super Beetle as it does an '87 Civic. Which costs the same to insure as an '89 Mazda B2200 truck, which was the same as my '94 Corolla, which was less than $25 cheaper than my '99 Mazda Protege ES, which is about the same as my current '93 Lexus ES 300.

It wouldn't cost me another $20 a month to go from a '93 Lexus ES 300 to an '01 Lexus GS400, or a '99 Porche Boxter S.

The point is that rates are jacked and nothing matters until you're a 25 year old male, and you have a clean record.

Price breaks if you have multiple vehicles, and home/life insurance from the same company.
