hey all, i just got new gabriel VST gas shocks in my car along with my reset pedders springs cuz i wasnt satisfied with the original drop it gave... Handles like a dream now... MAKES u want to drive hard...

However i just noticed whilst i was checking the space between the tyre and the guard that the left tyre seems to b a lil' higher than the right... maybe 5mm or more...(for those not familiar with metric system... 1 inch = 25.4mm)

***So basically wat i want to know is if this different is sicnificant enuf to be detrimental to handling and provide more stress on the suspension components (especially my new shockies)... and also will make my wheels wear out unevenly...

please reply if u know, ya'll this is important...

thanX a bunch...

If there aren't any other problems, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

WOW! If you're wearing out your wheels you really need some tires.

(sorry, just had to be the jackass to point that out)

its possible that the rubber piece that goes in between the boot and the spring could have been forgotten on one side... i think its about 5mm thick. did u do the installation or did a shop? because i would say if a shop did it, raise hell man- you dont pay an average of 200 to get a crappy job done.

I'm insulted  j/k

My thinking was if it's only 5mm (literally about this long I--I) then the parts may just need to settle. But if you're concerned, it never hurts to get it checked out. Let us know how it goes.
