1MZ-FE - How to properly burp the cooling system..?

Pretty much as it sounds. I think I've got an air bubble or two in the system and I was curious as to the proper method of burping the air bubbles out of the system. Upon inspection, I noticed the Radiator cap isn't on the radiator at all, it's near the middle of the engine on the passenger side, so this threw me for a bit of a loop.

So, What's the proper way to go about burping one of these bad boys?

You can just leave the rad cap open and let the car idle to normal until the thermostat opens. The rad cap/filler neck is located at the highest point of the coolant system and the air should automatically get its way up to bleed the system.

Once the thermostat opens, you can turn off the car and keep topping off the coolant as the car cooling down.

dont forget u need to have the heat on, your heater is run by your engine coolant, i was taught to turn the heater on full blast and let the car get hot and just add coolant as required

This is in slight relation to my 'other thread'. The few people I've had in town take a look at it thought that it could be an air bubble in the system, so I'd need to burp the system. Thanks.

Turn the heater on and off a few time will help. Also do that while you're driving more vibration = easier for air to move out. Do all this while engine is hot. Easier o drive around to get it hot then idling.
