which would be appropriate? (a/f controller)

im doing a chem project where i will be trying different a/f ratios and seeing what the effect on emissions is, as well as what is the best ratio.

which would be better for this purpose, an s-afc or a wideband o2? (not sure how wideband o2's work)

I found this by googling "best air/fuel ratio", 4th result on 2nd page.

Please, please make use of the internet.

SAFC and wideband o2 are for 2 different purposes. SAFC is for adjusting the a/f ratio while o2 gives you an a/f reading.

ok, i got confused by people often sayign "tune using a wideband o2". it gave me the impression a wideband o2 could control the a/f, not just read it. thanks ekam.
