Wrench socket in engine compartment! >.<!!

...I was trying to get the manifold heat shield off...and then the socket was stuck to the bolt....so i hit it and the socket flew somewhere in between the engine and the driver side fenders....I took the intake hose and filter out and looked to see if i can find that socket...but no luck.... So i then drive around my back drive way (very bumpy road) hoping that it'll pop out and unto the floor......but no luck........
So do you think its ok to drive the car?.....

Well you should pray nothings gonna happen. I've driven with many things in my engine compartment before. I've left socket sets in there, wrenches, and screw drivers. Never had nay problems. Wouldn't recommend it though.

oh thats a relief hopefully it'll fall out soon. Luckily, its not by the timing belt
