Changing Mounts when change struts

I have to change the front struts on a 98 Camry. While getting estimates, one dealer told me that I should also change the struts mounts and bearing. Is that necessary?

Any idea on how much the struts change should cost?

Appreciate all the help

Cost No, but to replace mounts and bearing, you would have to dsassemble the same things over again... and possibly have front end realigned.

I'd do the strut mounts just to be sure (97, 98 camrys were notorious for premature wear on strut mounts).

If i remember right they are about 60 dollars each. I also changed all mine when i put in my struts. I recommend the same if you are not doing the work yourself.
