I have a few questions to ask you all, I have a 93 Camry LE 2.2L Auto, First, what are the best brake pads I can get for my camry, I have a standard setup (disk drum). Also, I have been having a problem with water. Water gets stuck between the camry nameplate on the trunk, causing condensation to occur, then when I open my trunk, it drips from the nameplate into the trunk. I also have a bad squeak when I open my trunk, I looked at it and it looks as if the two rods of metal that make the trunk move are bent. On top of that, sometimes when I turn my car off, it sounds like I have loose belts, but not when Im driving. ,

For the brakes, what kind of driving do you do? Stop-and-go city traffic, racing, or highway driving?
Take some Lithium Grease and grease up the trunk hinges.
What kind of loose belt is it? Like a squeak sound when you turn off the car? DOes it happen when you tart he caR?
The two metalrods are what keep the trunk open, they are torsion bars. Don't mess with them unless you know what you are doing, they hurt to put back on if you make a mistake.
The squeaks? I use a bottle of Duralube someone gave me for Christamas a while back. I won't use it in my engine but it does great on little jobs like that. I have a syringe with a long plastic tip - works great. If external and exposed, use grease.
The tail face plate, you have to remove the trunk liner on the lid.
The screw mounts are back there in the rear of the lid.
You need to get a special socket that will allow a long pin to go through it. Its one of those special bolts they use on spoilers so that you can thread a nut on it.
If you do not understand take a look in there. A standard socket will not work and needle nose pliers don't give enough grip. So be forewarned.
For brake pads, let me introduce you to the SEARCH funtion of TN. It works great and I use it all the time. Just swap words around if you don't get a result that works.
I do a lot of city driving, I just want a good set that will make me stop faster, right now I feel like im trying to stop a big rig. As the trunk situation goes, I tried to pop the rods back in place several times, but there is this little black plastic piece that they are supposed to fit into and they just dont wanna go in it, damnit those rods are being .
