Canada Power Steering:hard to rotate

I have found that my steering is hard compare to ACURA RL 96. I have performance tire on it.Its 215/50 R17.I drove my firend's RL and his steering is pretty loose like you can turn the steering by 1 finger.Compare to his car my Camry's steering his harder.
My steering is hard on the highway speed as well (compare to not that hard when the car is idle)

Do you think Camry's steering is manufactured different from Acura RL?You think the stiffness of the steering of my car is normal. i checkd my power steering fluid and its between max and min when the engine is hot.I have not found any leak yet.

Camry 2001.

I have the exact same setup for wheels and it became heavier.
I don't mind it, actually like it. When you are blasting down some bumpy road, the heavier steering feels better.

weird you think yours is too stiff when i hate my gen 3's loose feel - although it could be a larger issue

i dont know how it could be manufactured THAT differently, all use similar linkage/rack + pinion setup

every car is different. I worked 5 years as a valet parker..and i've seen em all. Yes, camry's p/s in general is more stiffer (less loose) than acura RL's. THe most loose (smoothest) was the early 1990's Mitshu Pajaro (sold here as montero). Man that was like a silk cream....
