Wussup everyone. I wanted to buy a 5th gen. accord and swap an H22 in it until my friend did it first. I can't just buy the exact same car as my friend and do the same to it. Lately, I've been looking at the 3rd gen. camry. I've been thinking of buying the 5sfe and doing the 3sgte swap. I live in toronto, canada and am guessing it will be hard to find parts for the car.
1)what are the specs of the 3sgte
2)how much would the engine and the swap be including manual trans. swap (I can only find auto. camry's).
3)does the 3sgte come with a turbo?
4)could I find other aftermarket parts for the 3sgte if I do put one in?
My knowledge of cars is limited and would need alot of help. But seeing as it is limited, is the camry too much trouble therefore should stick to getting the same car as my friend? Keep in mind that I would rather get the camry.

Your plans are way too ambitious for the amount of knowledge you have. Learn how to walk before you run.

Everything is SUPER when you're...
the 3sge and 3sgte are practically the same, but the gte has a turbo- so unless you hate turbos or extra power, you should go ahead and pay extra for the 3sgte. there has been talk of a 5sfe/3sgte hybrid on sc3, but i dont know much about it yet. spectra is very correct though, at least go to http://www.howstuffworks.com and read everything in their engine dept. it will really help you out when people start explaining the minor details to you.
i like my gen 3 because of looks right now. if you are really that into performance, get a used supra. theres a $1400 kit out there that will put a stock twin turbo supra at 460 at the wheels. if you really want to be origional (and pay cash for it), then stay with the camry.
